Tom Bailey

I practise psychodynamic therapy. Clients often develop unhelpful behaviour patterns and beliefs in childhood. These are then carried into adulthood. When challenged, in therapy, these negative beliefs and behaviours can be changed – for good.

Psychodynamic therapy is effective in treating mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety and chronic emotional difficulties, such as an inability to form or maintain satisfying relationships. Unresolved family issues are a specialism.

I also practise hypnotherapy. This is effective for stopping smoking forever, weight loss, combating phobias and reducing anxiety.

The initial session is always free. I offer reduced rates for the unemployed, students and those on low income. I am an accredited member of The National Counselling Society. Daytime or evening appointments available.
