I work with you as the unique individual you are and strive to offer an inclusive anti-discriminatory practice that is open to all.
I have a master’s degree in clinical counselling from the University of Chester. I am also an NHS Counsellor working in a Psychological Therapies Service. I previously worked with Cruse Bereavement Care as a Support Volunteer and Co-trainer on the foundation course, and I continue to support people through their grief and loss in my Counselling practice.
My background is in the Performing Arts, I lectured in Contemporary Dance before becoming a High School Teacher. Working through my own adverse childhood experiences and supporting student actors, dancers and musicians in addition to my lecturing and teaching roles, led to my current career as a Counsellor.

How I work
My therapy is personal to you and the unique therapeutic relationship we create in each session. I listen with the aim of understanding how your experiences impact your life without making assumptions or trying to fit you into a formula. I am an interactive therapist, I will be in there with you, without getting in the way of your own thoughts, processes, and insights. You will feel supported and held by me as your confident companion through the more painful aspects of the therapeutic process. I will be your ally, as you connect with feelings you may have been avoiding or experiences you may have felt too difficult to explore or examine on your own.
I am registered on the government’s DBS update service and hold full indemnity insurance with Holistic Insurance Services.Posted by
